In the second hour, we hear from Arthur C. Brooks<\/strong> who is the president of the American Enterprise Institute (AEI), a public policy think tank in Washington, DC. He is also a contributing opinion writer for The New York Times. He discusses his book, The Conservative Heart: How to Build a Fairer, Happier, and More Prosperous America<\/em>. In his book, Brooks addresses this paradox: capitalism has been the greatest tool to draw people out of poverty, yet in America, conservatives who champion this system are viewed as callous and uninterested in helping the poor.<\/p>\n
